Loading ...Today we have lost one of the greatest playwrights of our generation. August Wilson succumbed to cancer at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. He was surrounded by his family.
A few weeks ago, when Gilligan died, you would have thought he had actually been America’s sweetheart for the past 30 years. I actually had to do a search for Wilson’s name to find the story about his death. Sad.
UPDATE: The headline just showed up on Yahoo’s homepage.
