In apparent anticipation of the human race bringing extinction upon itself either through war or massive environment damage, the great ape is stepping up and starting to evolve.
Gorillas have been seen for the first time using simple tools to perform tasks in the wild, researchers say.
Scientists observed gorillas in a remote Congolese forest using sticks to test the depth of muddy water and to cross swampy areas.
This is quite a coup for the scientific community, for years now they have only been able to capture simple primates using their hands while working. While this may be a step forward for the great ape, they’re still not evolved enough to have a spokesape, so try as we might, there was no comment from the apes on this shocking discovery.
