There are going to be a lot of cranky people in Brooklyn this week. If you were expecting a FedEx package of 135 lbs of marijuana, you can stop waiting.
A dope-dealing FedEx deliveryman was busted in
Brooklyn yesterday — along with another man — as he dropped off several
packages containing 135 pounds of marijuana, police said.Deliveryman Rudolph Hill, 43, and another man, Douglas Martin,
32, both of Brooklyn, were charged with possession of marijuana after
cops caught them with the drugs.Cops waited in front of 150 49th St. in Sunset Park until
about 2 p.m. and spotted Hill double-park his FedEx truck alongside
Martin’s red Dodge Durango. That’s when officers saw Hill hand off the packages to Martin, police said.
I’m not sure what the big deal is, according to FedEx’s own website their people are specifically trained to handle challenges like this.
FedEx people have long been recognized for doing whatever it
takes to get the job done. Though our portfolio of services has
changed, our people haven’t. Offering more services to more places only
makes our people more dedicated than ever to the "absolutely,
positively" tradition.
"Excuse me, kindly FedEx person, do you think you could be so kind as to deliver this 135 pounds of chronic for me?"
"Absolutely, positively!"
I demand the immediate release of FedEx deliveryman Rudolph Hill and the subsequent arrest of the executives who were in charge of his training at FedEx. The only thing Mr. Hill is guilty of is doing his job too well. Free Rudolph!
