E. Miers wrote to George W. Bush days after his 51st birthday in July
1997. She also found him "cool," said he and his wife, Laura, were "the
greatest!" and told him: "Keep up the great work. Texas is blessed."
"You are the best governor ever?" She sounds like she has a high school crush. "The greatest?" This woman is going to be on the Supreme Court? Seriously, if this woman gets confirmed for the court there is absolutely no way that anyone can have any respect whatsoever for our system. If Miers is confirmed our system has officially jumped the shark and failed miserably. Down with free thinking democracy, up with ignorant crony-ism.
