In order to stay alive, BlogNYC needs to come up with $150 in seven days.  You see we saw this 350 foot Jesus and he told us that if we didn’t raise…well, ok that didn’t really happen (well it did, it just didn’t tell us to raise $150).  BlogNYC has been around for three weeks and in that time we’ve seen some decent growth.  The site looks great.  People are commenting, new NYC area bloggers are contributing and the revolution has only just begun.

But, we need $150.  That’s what it costs to keep BlogNYC up on typepad for the year, and we thought it would be easier to just get it all done in one shot.  So if you can spare even a dollar, drop it into the tip jar so we can give it straight back to typepad.  We’ll let you know after we get to the $150.  We’re not trying to make a profit, just trying to cover the costs of the site.
