While most of America struggles to get by and put food on the table while dealing with the rising cost of gas, not to mention how they’re going to afford keeping their families warm this winter with the cost of fuel oil through the roof, oil companies are busy raking in their highest profits ever.
Exxon Mobil Corp. had a quarter for the record books. The world’s
largest publicly traded oil company said Thursday high oil and
natural-gas prices helped its third-quarter profit surge almost 75
percent to $9.92 billion, the largest quarterly profit for a U.S.
company ever, and it was the first to ring up more than $100 billion in
quarterly sales.
I thought we were paying higher prices for oil because it was such a strain on the oil companies, NOT SO THEY COULD RAKE IN BILLIONS OF DOLLARS AND MAKE RECORD PROFITS! FUCK YOU, FUCK YOUR WAR AND FUCK YOUR EVIL, GREEDY OIL WHORING FRIENDS.
