It’s sad really.  Ferrer is asking for federal monitors to be stationed at the polls on election day next week.

Fernie, give it up man.  It’s nice, you did your best.  You gave it a shot and no one likes to give up, but we all know that come election day, you’re going to be sucking wind like just ran a mile with Star Jones on your back. 

I know, I know, you’re the democrat, you should have a stronger presence in New York than Bloomie.  But here’s the deal.  You know how many Bloomberg ads I’ve seen this election year?  More than I can remember.  You know how many Ferrer ads I’ve seen?  Zero.

A lot of people would say that Bloomie isn’t doing a bad job, the housing sucks, but hey it’s NYC, everyone expects that.  And let’s face it.  At times it’s seemed like your campaign was the blind leading the blind. 

Want to know what my suggestion is?  Go into the last debate with a devil-may-care attitude, and just start ripping Bloomberg a new one.  Put the censors on alert and go fucking nuts.  After he answers a question, just say as loudly as you can, "are you fucking kidding me or are you the dumbest motherfucker in New York City?"

I really think something like that would get you a lot of play time between now and the election.
