HowellrainesA former flame of former executive editor of the NYT, Howell Raines, has written a "fictional" (a names have been changed to protect the innocent sort of thing) account of her affair with the then editor of the NYT.  That’s Raines pictured to the left.  Hear me when I say this, no one, and I mean no one wants to hear about anything that might involve anyone considering even thinking about having an affair with this man.

For those of you that don’t remember Haines he was the editor that was shitcanned for allowing Jayson Blair to make up stories and publish them as fact.  We’re not sure who greenlighted this project by Hendry, but we demand whoever is responsible be held accountable and fired immediately.

The book which is titled, "Touched By Ink-Stained Hands" (our vote for creepiest book title ever) goes into lurid details of Raines’ and Hendry’s affair:

"With his fingers, he dug into her waist, holding her
tightly, pushing his body into her, pushing with all his strength,"
Hendry writes. "The pain was back. She never felt so much force . . .
and it seemed to go on forever . . .

The pain isn’t the only thing that’s back, so is my lunch.  Grody.  After reading that paragraph it seems that much like whatever Hendry was feeling, my nausea too will "go on forever".

"Alone in her thoughts, she didn’t feel like Lolita
or even the bad girl Art loved to spank. With the red lacy lingerie
tossed to the foot of the bed, Maisey felt a lot like a hooker who
hadn’t been paid."

Trust me, we know the feeling.  I’ve just taken three showers and I still feel dirty from reading only the excerpts.  God only knows what the entire book would do, my therapy bills alone would be in the millions.
