Yesterday, Fernando Ferrer made the comment, "there’s going to be an immense surprise tomorrow, so fasten your seat belts", and we made fun of him. We owe Fernando an apology.
While everyone assumed Ferrer was going to be destroyed by Bloomberg, who could have predicted this?
Bloomberg pummeled Fernando Ferrer by a 20-point margin, the largest of
any Republican over a Democrat in a New York mayoral race. The last
drubbing close to that magnitude was Rudolph Giuliani’s 17-point
re-election landslide in 1997.
Wow, now that is an immense surprise. You were right Fernando, we can admit when we are wrong. our apologies.
