We here at BlogNYC hate sweeps week as much as the next person, but Richard Huff has taken his dislike of all things sweeps to a new level.
"After years of watching television, I’ve come to
the conclusion that for local news, the sweeps period is like an
outbreak of herpes," Huff begins in his rant.
Umm, realllllly? So tell us Dick, which is worse really? The herpes or the sweeps. Huff goes on to describe in all too vivid detail the horrid symptoms of herpes that he insists is comparable to sweeps week.
I guess we’ll just have to take your word for it Dick. In the meantime, you might to remember to keep our "inside thoughts" on the inside.
