If you’re in Manhattan tonight and have absolutely nothing else to do, and find yourself near Rockefeller Center, you could stop by for the tree lighting ceremony. If you do go, take pics and send them to us. We’re pretty sure after last night’s debauchery we won’t be trekking to Rockefeller Center tonight.
If you can’t make you can watch it from the Rockefeller Center TreeCam. It has a live picture that updates every two minutes, or you can even watch live streaming video of the event.
Ahh, modern technology and Christmas. It reminds me of that age old story, the ‘Gift of the Magi’. You know the one, where the woman sells her breast implants to buy her husband a new stylus for his PDA, and the guy sells his PDA to buy his wife an extra large bra. Honestly, one of the most heart warming stories of our time. A true classic, O’Henry truly did know how to write from his heart.
