Can someone explain this to me? According to the Catholic Church, limbo is the place where babies go when they die. I was under the impression other people could get into limbo for a certain amount of time and wait out some sins they committed and then get transferred to Heaven. Maybe that’s just in the movies.
But, isn’t it either something you believe in or something you don’t? Are you allowed to just change the rules of your religion? Is limbo something Catholics just made up? Dammit, aren’t there any Catholics out there who can explain this to me? And why is limbo any more hard to buy than heaven or hell? These are things I need to know. Any priests out there reading this site?
