As Friday’s deadline draws near, and with no deal still in place, the TWU is ready and willing to go on an illegal strike. [Daily News]- Geeks rule. - For the second time in two days a dog was shocked by faulty ConEd wiring. A dog stepped on a lamp post in Prospect Park and recieved a shock. This really hits home. If I lived one neighborhood over, had a dog, and actually walked it past that lamp post at that exact moment, that could have been me. I feel very lucky to not have a dog that may or may not still be alive right now. Scary stuff. [NY1]
