As the midnight deadline draws closer with still no progress being made, Mayor Bloomberg outlines a plan.

"All of us should do our best to be patient and courteous," he said.

His comment drew blank stares and curious glances.  Thousands of New Yorkers rushed to find a dictionary to look up those two foreign words, "patient" and "courteous".

Well, if that’s the plan, good luck, you may want to consider starting to use up some of your sick days.

There is some good news though, if there is a strike, alternate side parking will be suspended for the duration.  The downside is, you better make three friends to ride with you into Manhattan or else you’re not getting in, at least from 5-11am.
