In what must be the slowest news day ever, the Daily News is not just doing a piece on Bloomberg’s wardrobe, they’re doing a piece on GQ doing a piece on Bloomberg’s wardrobe.

O’Brien specifically singled out Bloomberg as one of many American
politicians who are purportedly guilty of "dumbing-down" their fashion
choices.

He cited a Bergdorf Goodman executive who suspects Bloomberg has "toned down his dapper dress" since he took office in 2002.

"Dumbing down" their fashion choices?  Well, we guess it makes sense.  I mean, we’re sure politicians don’t want to constantly remind us common folk about all their millions while we’re sucking dick in the parking lot to try and make twenty bucks for a pair of Old Navy cargo pants.

We guess you can’t argue with logic.  There’s nothing dumber than wearing jeans and a leather jacket, with no hat on your walk across the Brooklyn Bridge on the coldest day of the year during the transit strike.  God knows, the everyman doesn’t bundle up.  Wearing warm clothes is for pussies.
