An embarrassed nation tried hard to hide its disappointment at the ineptness of three sisters who gave birth on three consecutive days.
"It just seems like they could have tried harder to have them all on the same day," said an obviously embarrassed neighbor who asked to remain anonymous. "I mean, sure it’s never happened that three sisters have given birth on three consecutive days, but it just seems sort of anti-climactic if you’re going to have them that close together, it seems like they could have put a little more effort into it is all I’m saying."
The sisters, who appeared on several morning news shows, had no answer for why they didn’t try harder.
One sister offered a half-hearted apology to the nation saying, "I know we can do better. We’re going to take a few months, but we’re all planning on fucking like crazy on March 10, and if all goes well, we’ll finally get this right nine months after that." The other two sisters were obviously too embarrassed to say anything and the poor babies just pretended to be asleep the entire time to avoid having to answer for their mother’s shame.
