The Wiyos, Brooklyn’s finest vaudevillian ragtime jugband blues and hillbilly swing trio, will host a night of vaudeville-esque variety acts to celebrate the release of their brand new album, “Hat Trick”. Some of their raucous guests will include:

- Dennis Nyback showing extremely rare 1930’s washboard and harmonica band films on a 16mm projector!
- Mac from WFMU 91.1FM spinning 78 RPM records and wax cylinders on real antique horn Victrolas!
- Curtis Eller, NYC’s angriest yodeling acrobatic banjo player, singing about pigeon racing, performing elephants and Jesus, all of which he has seen with his own eyes!
- The Two Man Gentleman Band delivering old time country songs about drinking, fishing, illegitimate child bearing and hind quarters, all with great style!
- The Red Bastard’s amazing fatsuit and comic genius!
- The lovely Amy G of the Daredevil Opera Company giving us her sweet ukelele sounds (yes, THAT Amy G from our Tiki party)!
- Burlesque! Train depot Puppets! Harmonica players stashed throughout the room!

An acoustic trio comprised of three vocals, washboard/harmonica/kazoo, guitar, and upright bass, The Wiyos transport listeners back to a time before TV and mass media were the main sources of entertainment, to the days when music could be heard on live radio and at community dances, medicine shows and house parties. Incorporating elements of physical comedy and theatricality, The Wiyos create a visually stimulating show in the spirit of Fats Waller, Spike Jones and the Hoosier Hotshots.
