Did these stores actually exist before 40-year-old Virgin came out? I’d never even heard of such a thing and it seemed absurd to pay someone to sell your crap on Ebay, but apprently, it’s not so absurd. Somebody opened up one on Flatbush Ave in Park Slope. It’s only been open a few months I think.
Has anyone ever used a place like this to sell something? Isn’t there a fee from Ebay to sell something, then I would assume the store chareges a fee for whatever it sells for you? What could the point be of taking your stuff to a store like this?

Want a neat little picture by your comments? Get one here.I’d do this. I have, oh god, confession time, like a few thousand comic books under my bed that I’d love to sell off, but I don’t see myself sitting around for hours entering all of the info into eBay. But I also don’t see myself dragging ass over to Park Slope either.

I’ll give you $20 bucks for the lot of them and I’ll even pick them up.

My cousin in San Francisco makes his entire living selling other people’s crap on ebay. He mostly sells VHS tapes. For a while he had a store front (exactly like 40y/o Virgin.. ‘cept he was no virgin, he managed to get his helper preggers).. People would come into the store all the time to buy things, but he didn’t have a proper business license. It was mostly for shipping purposes because my Aunt was sick of the garage being full of crap.

These stores are money pits, the concept does not work! The only money being made is in selling the franchises! Stay clear!
