A 21-year-old man jumped to his death from the 66th floor of the Empire State building today. Dovid Abramowitz of Manhattan made his way into the building by buying a ticket to the observation deck. It’s not clear how the man made it onto the 66th floor without a company-issued pass.
Abramowitz is one of more than 30 people that have committed suicide at the Empire State building since it was opened in 1931. The last was believed to be in 2004 when a man jumped from the observation deck.
