Will today finally be the day that winter truly arrives? Supposedly a storm is brewing and heading this way and is expected to drop 4" - 6" on the city overnight. I just overheard someone with the DHS saying that thankfully it was coming on the weekend to give them time to get it cleared up by Monday.
I’m sure a lot of people would disagree with that. There’s no better excuse to not get to work than 6" fresh inches of snow outside your door. The rest of New York is cursing the fact that it’s happening on the weekend.
Anyway, we’ll see how it develops. We’d love to see pictures of your neighborhood as the snow progresses. If you want to share your pictures of the first blizzard of 2006 send them to blizzard@blognyc.net. We’ll try to post some of our own.
