Robert Downey Jr. is willing to work for almost anything just to find a gig in Hollywood. Shockingly, a lot of directors are hesitant to work with a repeat junkie who barely stays out of jail.
Downey Jr., who was reportedly paid just $100-a-day to star in low-budget thriller Game 6 last year, says, “I’m probably the best deal in town, literally bargain basement. Right now all these guys you’ve never heard of are making $8 million a movie, so I’m still a good deal.”
No Robert, we’ve heard of those guys too, we’ve just never heard of them waking up in a strange house in some little girl’s bedroom.
