After nearly two years of sobriety James Gandolfini has finally started being a fun guy to hang out with again, rumor has it that he’s fallen off the wagon.
He’s been spotted tippling at his old drinking haunts, like New York’s Gaslight Lounge. And he strayed from his gorgeous gal pal while in Chicago to catch a performance by his consigliere co-star, Steve Van Zandt.
Gandolfini squired “Sopranos” makeup artist Kathrina Miccio to the premiere of their show’s sixth season on March 12. But spies snapped him canoodling with a mystery blond at Buddy Guy’s Legends nightclub on March 17.
“He went up to the blond and started licking her face and her head — it was as if he was licking a lollipop!” giggled a snitch. “When someone told him not to do it, he called security over. He was drinking up a storm.”
I guess he got bored with Scrabble and needlepoint.
