Saturday night on the Upper West Side, Howard Stern and his girlfriend Beth Ostrosky were accosted by a deranged fan who allegedly “screamed and waved his arms, threatening Stern and Ostrosky - getting right in their faces and making them fear for their lives”.
The crazed man, who shockingly enough turned out not to be Joel Hollander CEO/President of CBS radio which Howard recently left for Sirius, was later identified as Gregory Forbes. Forbes then allegedly chased the couple as they jumped into a taxi and spit in Beth Ostrosky’s face through an open window. Stern managed to call the cops and ride around in an unmarked police car until Forbes was spotted by two detectives a couple of blocks away less than an hour later. He was arraigned last night in Manhattan Criminal Court on charges of third-degree menacing and second-degree harassment and held on $500 bail.
