I don’t think it’s a great sign when the new guy you tapped to play James Bond has the same fan base as Barbara Streisand, Judy Garland and America’s Next Top Model. Or maybe it means that Daniel Craig is just so manly that even men can’t resist him.
British actor DANIEL CRAIG has found an unexpected benefit since taking over the role of JAMES BOND - he is now a gay icon. Craig, who is currently filming forthcoming 007 movie CASINO ROYALE, was mobbed by admiring homosexuals on a night out, and was surprised to find they had other things on their minds than Bond. The 38-year-old says, “I was out recently and all these gay guys were all over me like a rash, but they never ask about the Bond plot.”
Daniel, I don’t think you want to mention any group of people being all over you, men or women, and “rash” in the same sentence. It just doesn’t sound decent. And just imagine, ripped guy walking around in tight, baby blue speedos being some sort of gay icon? Go on.
