The article was especially harsh on the failure to critically anylize what many scientists fear may be the cause of this species to species transmission of avian influenza…a particularly ravenous old woman.
Admittedly, the old woman did swallow a dog, I know what it sounds like, what a hog! to swallow a dog. However, in the old woman’s defense, she only swallowed the dog to catch the cat, she swallowed the cat to catch the bird (hellooo, avian flu anyone?), she swallowed the bird to catch the spider…that wriggled and jiggled and tickled inside her, she swallowed the spider to catch the fly. I’m not sure anyone knows why she swallowed the fly but the majority consensus seems to be that as a result of swallowing the fly, perhaps she’ll die.
Authorities are asking for the public’s help, if you see any old women swallowing dogs or cats, please notify authorities immediately. If we don’t put a stop to this sooner or later this old lady is going to be swallowing goats. I know you’re thinking, “how is that possible?” I actually saw it happen once. In Tijuana. She just opened her throat! to swallow a goat. It’s an image I will have to live with for the rest of my life.
