Fresh from breast-lift surgery, Star Jones said yesterday that beauty is more than skin deep.
Speaking to the congregation of the First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens in Somerset, N.J., the co-host of ABC’s “The View” said faith is more important than face-lifts.
“Beauty, wealth and success mean little if you have not developed a relationship with God,” she said. “I’ve learned that a relationship with God is achieved through solitude, meditation, prayer and soul-searching, and - above all - patience.”
Let’s just go over that first line again. “Fresh from breast-lift surgery, Star Jones said yesterday that beauty is more than skin deep.”
And God said, “Lift ye breasts to the heavens, surgically.” Then Star signed copies of her new book, “Shine: A Physical, Emotional, & Spiritual Journey to Finding Love”…in the Church. God bless plastic surgery and capitalism, “Jesus loves you, now buy my book bitches.”
Look, I’m not even that religious, but using a church to pawn off your new book? Come on.
“When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the Temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So he made a whip out of cords and drove all from the Temple, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves he said: ‘Get out of here.’ (John 2:13-16)
