Not only is the Daily News not happy about the way the new season of The Sopranos is going so far, they used their TV editor and their TV critic to write two seperate columns, one making sure to mention the other, about exactly how much they don’t like it. Fascinating.
Personally, I think this season of The Sopranos is quite good. I think they’re doing an excellent job of raising, even subtly, questions about right and wrong and how are choices effect our lives.
Huff wonders, to our misfortune,
Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who plays Meadow, was asked by Maxim about her favorite episode. She chose “College,” the series’ fifth episode in the first season. That’s an interesting choice by Sigler and notable because it happened long ago.
Or maybe it was because she was a young actress that just got cast in a hit HBO series and that was her first, really big episode. While Bianculli claims he’s still “behind the show” he does a poor job of portraying it.
Huff and Bianculli remind me of the episode where the Cusamano’s have the dinner party and talk about Tony while they all sit back and smoke the big fat cigars that he paid for.
Can ‘The Sopranos’ still shoot straight? A ‘yes’…. [Daily News]
… and a ‘no’ [Daily News]
