I have to admit that the only episodes of American Idol I’ve seen this season were the auditons, the only reason I know anything about what’s going on with Idol is through our Idol correspondent Leslie Thomason. I did however, just find out that they are down to the last four contestants and that Taylor Hicks is one of them.
How f’ing cool would it be to see this guy be the next American Idol? He’s not super-sexy, not ultra-hip, in fact he’s a little geeky and unabashedly southern and Joe Cocker like. I would love to see how they would promote this guy after he wins the American Idol award. Imagine Taylor Hicks touring with Kelly Clarkson? Genius!
