Mortimer (Zucky) Zuckerman just dropped a $100 million check off at the Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, one of the best cancer research hospitals in the country. Zuckerman has said that Sloan-Kettering can use the money however they see fit and has put no restrictions on how they use it. Sloan-Kettering says they plan on using most of the money to build a new research facility.
Zuckerman who is a billionaire real estate developer and owns the weekly U.S. News and World Report as well as the Daily News. He also sits on the board at Sloan-Kettering and is a former board president of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
