As if Hollywood’s ego stroking of itself, also known as the Academy Awards, hasn’t already done enough to render itself completely irrelevent, movie mogul Harvey Weinstein predicts that Lindsay Lohan will win an Oscar next year.
Weinstein believes the 19-year-old, who has roles in both A Prairie Home Companion and the upcoming Robert Kennedy saga Bobby, could wage two Academy Award campaigns this year.
Weinstein, whose company is distributing Bobby…
You almost had me Harvey, up until the part where I realized you were distributing one of the films you think Lindsay should be nominated for. That was a good one. Nice try Harvster.

Want a neat little picture by your comments? Get one here.I saw a Prairie Home Companion, and I thought the movie was great and the cast was excellent, except for Lohan, who was the least convincing. This isn’t necessarily a knock against her, but she couldn’t hold a candle to Streep, Tomlin, Keillor, Reilly, Kline, or anyone else. If she wins for that performance, I’ll be pissed. Hell, even if she’s nominated.
