It appears that even God doesn’t like Stephen Baldwin. In a new memoir coming out about the youngest Baldwin’s life, he claims that God told him to star in Bio-Dome with Pauly Shore and advised him not to play Jennifer Garner’s love interest in Alias. More proof that our God is a vengeful one.
Then, Stephen pulls a play out of the New, Modern Christian handbook with this whopper of a quote:
Baldwin has some advice for Bono: Shut up and sing. “You would do far more good if you preached the gospel of Jesus, rather than trying to get Third World debt relief,” he wrote. “God will take care of that Third World country. Get back to your calling, Bono.”
Yeah, Bono. You selfish devil worshiper. God didn’t put us on this planet to help people less fortunate than ourselves. He’ll take care that. Just be a fucking rockstar man. Come on!
Ironically enough, watching Bio-Dome at such a young, impressionable age was what actually convinced me that there wasn’t a God, and if there was, he was playing some sort of very cruel trick on Stephen Baldwin.
