After Michael Chertoff and the other geniuses at the DHS played pin the tail on the funding and cut over 40% of NYC’s anti-terror funds, they refused to even look at letters, faxes and printed out e-mails from disgruntled NYC residents.
Sen. Chuck Schumer blasted Chertoff and the DHS saying there should be an ostrich on their seal rather than an eagle. It’ll be interesting to find out in a year or two how much of this money that’s being funneled to other states is being put straight into the pockets of nephews, cousins and drinking buddies.
