So we all know that Star has been 86′d from The View, with rumors abounding that it was because the new head hostess of the show, Rosie O’Donnell, wants her to come out and admit that she had gastric bypass surgery.
Well, contrary to earlier reports that were saying that Star Jones was leaving and was signing a huge deal with another network, which blew our mind, now word is coming out that she doesn’t have anything at all lined up. Which is much more in line with our version of reality.
Insiders are also saying that producers were ready to fire Star after her wedding fiasco when she basically tried to whore the entire event out to get as much free shit as possible. The only reason she wasn’t fired, according the source, is because Barbara Walters felt sorry for her.

Simple Business reasoning here- Rosie had the number one daytime show for many years. Star was the reason most people watched Regis instead of the View. Replacing Star with Rosie… Pretty much a no brainer. Great move.
