Ben Stiller is producing and directing a new comedy for CBS starring his wife, Christine Taylor, on which he is slated to make occasional guest appearances.
The show is described as sort of a Curb Your Enthusiasm style featuring Taylor’s life in Hollywood and her career as an actress. A CYE type show without Larry David and on CBS? Somehow I think that description may come back to haunt them.
Sources say that Stiller is excited to be venturing back into television, his first major foray back since his launching pad, The Ben Stiller Show. Sources all claim that Stiller is confident that he will find time for the TV show between the 85 movies a year he normally appears in.
