If we start taking the names off of buildings and landmarks named after public officials and politicians who illegally took money from corporate whores with one hand while they eagerly played the common everyman and shook hands with us lowly civilians with the other, we’re going to have to come up with a lot of new names.
“After Bernie Kerik pleaded guilty, it was not appropriate to have that facility named after him, and I informed the [correction] commissioner of my decision and he expeditiously changed the naming of the sign,” said Bloomberg.
