Yeah that’s right, I said it. For years I’ve sat back and watch MoDo transform herself from a respectable, homely columnist into a semi-respectable, hussey of a columnist. Now she’s just flat out stealing stories from BlogNYC.
Yesterday when we reported on the city’s announcment to have WiFi up and running in parks by the end of August we also mentioned that someone should get the city to see the benefits of having a free WiFi connection in all of NYC, not just the parks.
Then I flip open the NYT today and see MoDo’s vixeny eyes staring back at me and a headline that reads, New York to Examine Creating Citywide Broadband Network. Oh really?
So there you have it. Irrefutable evidence that not only does Maureen Dowd read BlogNYC but so does Mayor Bloomberg.
