CNBC’s Joe Kernan talking about The Pirates of the Caribbean’s weekend haul, reports that it barely beat out the old number one weekend box office smash, Aquaman.
For those of you that don’t know, Aquaman is a fictional movie that the guy in HBO’s Entourage is set to star in during this season’s first episode. He promises to buy all of his friends “something sick” if the movie beats Spiderman 2 for opening weekend box office sales. To hype the show, HBO took out a full page ad in Variety touting Aquaman’s “success” at the box office.
And this guy is CNBC’s choice to give you financial advice.
