Since taking office, Bloomberg has been pretty neutral and gone out of his way not to bring up his predecessor, Rudy Giuliani. That all changed on his radio show this week.
“If you go by public housing in the city, the lawns outside, there’s no trash,” Bloomberg said on his weekly radio show. “Five years ago, there used to be; it looked like it was a garbage dump.”
Meow. Mayor fight! Looks like things are starting to heat up as speculation continues that Bloomberg may put up a “half billion” dollars of his own money to run as an independent for the White House in 2008. Giuliani is one of the contenders for the Republican nomination.
