The DDDB held its largest rally yet yesterday at Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn. According the DDDB website over 4,000 people showed up to protest Ratner’s land grab to build the Atlantic Yards project.
Dan Zanes sang, Rosie Perez spoke, and there were politicians a-plenty but perhaps most memorable was Steve Buscemi, who wrote a poem, which included the line: I’ve played a lot of crazies but this is INSANE.
