Well thanks to ConEdison’s unwanted and unexpected forced vacation last week we may have missed out on a lot of really good news. We really wouldn’t know though since we spent virtually all of it out of the loop focused solely on getting our power turned back on. We spent most of the week watching ConEd trucks pull up, sit around for 30-40 minutes and then leave without doing anything. When we finally cornered one and asked them what was going on, we were told that the workers kept getting sent here and whatever their specialty was, that part of the job was already completed.
Is every single corporation/government agency (run by the same people now so what’s the diff) in America being run by total fucking incompetents just crossing their fingers hoping stuff doesn’t go wrong?
