Reuters Fires Photographer for turning in a Crappy Photoshop Job

The photograph above taken by Adnan Hajj a freelance photographer who was fired after trying to pass off the photo above as legit. Hajj purportedly tried making the scene showing Beirut look worse than it actually was.

The photograph was first revealed as a fake by a few six year olds that noticed, rather mockingly, that “somebody doesn’t know how to use the smudge tool in Photoshop”.

Reuters took down the altered image on Sunday, replacing it with the unaltered photo found here.
