Breaking: Track Fire Shuts Down B & D Lines in Both Directions

A track fire in Brooklyn has disrupted subway service on the B and D trains in both directions, according to the MTA.

The fire broke broke out north of the Dekalb Avenue station at Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn and two southbound B and D trains were being evacuated, the MTA said.

The Brooklyn-bound B and D trains are running on the F line from the W. 4th Street station to the Stillwell Avenue station. Manhattan-bound B and D trains are running on the R line from the Dekalb Avenue station to the 57th Street-7th Avenue station, the MTA said.
