Last November Georgi vodka started running an ad campaign on city busses that just showed a woman’s ass in a bikini with sand on it. Viacom, the company in charge of bus billboard program for the MTA, took the ads down after receiving complaints that the ad was too racy.
Well, the ads are back, this time on yellow cabs. And surpisingly some uptight do-gooder’s aren’t very happy about it.
Kanta Singh, a 42-year-old Empire State Building supervisor from Queens, said the ads are not appropriate for kids.
“I wouldn’t want my children looking at these ads,” said Singh. “This is why I’m scared to take my kids into the city because I fear that they may see images like these on taxis.”
Thank God people are finally taking responsibility and teaching their kids to be ashamed of their bodies at an early age. The sooner they take those ads down the better. Not to mention they’re blocking the view of the guy pissing on himself and the woman with a wad of newspaper shoved up her ass.
