A couple of days ago we got an email from a reader asking what was up with some flyer she had seen claiming that someone named Richard Nouveau was trying to lobby Mayor Bloomberg into changing the name o 50th St between 2nd and 3rd to “Richard Nouveau CT”.
Another reader, Dave, sent us in a couple of pictures of said flyer.
We sent an email off to Concerned Citizens for Change to see what the deal was. We have to assume that it’s more than likely another crappy viral marketing campaign of some sort. Possibly another e-book coming out?
Although I think that more than a few of the business listed on CCC’s website as “partnering organizations” might be interested to know that they are misleading people into action against a fictitious character.
