In case you didn’t know that Jessica Simpson was better than you last week at the VMA’s when she walked away with tens of thousands of dollars worth of free jewelry and high tech electronic gadgets and a $50,000 Chrysler convertible, her publicist is trying to hammer home the point.
“People like her don’t really need these things because they already have everything,” Jessica’s “damage-control guru” Rob Shuter said, explaining that she’s giving to the charity that provides cosmetic surgery to children with facial deformities. Sometime later, Shuter hastily notified Operation Smile.
But apparently Jessica doesn’t want to save face enough to give away all her free shit, Shuter emailed the News later saying, “I don’t think she has thought about it yet.”
Lord knows nobody deserves to “win” a free car from Chrysler like Jessica Simpson. I mean she did breakup with the guy that nailed her for the first time. That’s got to be a trying experience that only hundreds of thousands of dollars in free shit can get your through.
