We just got this email from a reader:
this morning on fox 5 they had a story on a 60 minutes interview to air sunday in which an official from the epa says they warned guiliani’s office that the air quality at ground zero was hazardous and that his office ignored them and sent people down there anyway. that’s the gist of it anyway, but i can’t find a link to the story on their website.
Has anyone else heard anything about this? That will be very interesting if the EPA comes out and says that they flat told Guiliani not to go down there and he did it anyway. I’m sure all the people who are suffering now would like the answer to that question.

Want a neat little picture by your comments? Get one here.they were quoting than EPA head Christie Whitman. This should be a nasty blame game played out of national TV.
