It looks like John Mayer is taking to a sort of viral marketing campaign of his own. Over the past few days, people in Park Slope have been seeing flyers that read:
JOHN MAYER WILL TEACH YOU GUITAR!
In a crazy world where managing time is harder than ever, trust John Mayer to be there to instruct you to express yourself with the magic of music.
The tabs on the flyers have an actual number on them that gets you to a recording of Mayer explaining that he is not really giving guitar lessons but, surprise, he does have a new Album coming out.
So how many people are thinking that it was Mayer himself that leaked the fake story to the tabloids about him and Jessica Simpson dating? Seems a lot more plausible now doesn’t it?
