After the record breaking acquisition of YouTube by Google, the New York Post gives us a unique insight into the founders of YouTube. Chad Hurley has always been a “promising entrepreneur since age 5, when he first peddled paintings on his parents’ lawn in rural Berks County, Pa.” according to the Post.
Steve Chen however, Chen is an entirely different story.
Meanwhile, he and Chen - himself a renegade known for sporting two gold ear hoops - had remained good friends. When they talked after the party that fateful night in 2005, it seemed only natural that they would go into business together.
Because nothing says “renegade” like two gold hoop earrings.
