We got a couple of emails this morning asking us if we knew what happened to the N, R, Q lines going into Brooklyn last night.

I was on the N train coming home last night and everything was fine until after Canal Street. The train started running local, stopping for five minutes at each stop, then suddenly, at Whitehall Street they announced last stop. A Q train came by while we were waiting and when it stopped it announced last stop and dumped everyone off. Then a MTA worker came walking through the now pretty angry crowd and announced there was no service to Brooklyn. Then an R train came and dropped everyone off as well. There were at least a few hundred people stuck on South St trying to find an unoccupied cab. I ended up sharing one with three strangers just to get back into Brooklyn. Any idea what the hell was going on?

Actually, no. Has anyone else heard anything about what happened last night or how long people were getting dumped off on Whitehall St?
