A personal employee of Mayor Bloomberg was running errands in Hackensack yesterday morning when he was beaten up and carjacked.
The employee was driving a 2001 Lexus when a woman approached the driver’s side to ask for money. As the driver declined and rolled up the window a man jumped into the passenger side and punched him in the face.
“They force him out and take off,” said Capt. Frank Lomia, of the Hackensack Police Department.
The car was recovered about two hours later abandoned on the side of the road.
